Queer Science Virtual Pride Month Event

The Pride Month activities include a deep look at the historic contributions of scientists from the LGBTQ+ community that impact our lives today. The event opens with an ice breaker question to instantly engage your team.

Throughout the event, we break up the studio portions with live visits to San Francisco. Plus, play some trivia that will widen your knowledge about important LGBTQ+ icons.

We’ll also take a group screenshot and send to you after the event for you to use in your social media or company newsletter, if desired.

Corporate groups are welcome to provide a short introduction. We allocate about five minutes to the introduction.

First, once you fill out the form for more information, you’ll receive an email with details about the events. That email will include a link to meet with our sales manager. Simply book a time on her calendar if you have any questions!

The Pride Month: Queer Science virtual experience is an uplifting experience. It traces the contributions of important, brilliant minds from the LGBTQ+ community and how their new ways of thinking still influence us today!

First of all, we encourage you to invite employees — all of them of all sexual orientations! — to your event. Secondly, this is a celebration of LGBTQ+ achievement that everyone will enjoy, allies included.

If you would like to add guest speakers, that is possible.

However, we have found that teams get optimal engagement with a 60 minute event. Our Pride-themed experience is one hour in length, so adding on a guest speaker would lengthen your experience. If you’d like to start with opening remarks under 3 minutes, it will not cut into the time of the event, as we work corporate opening remarks into our events.

Yes, we have many virtual Pride month ideas, including preparing a Pride playlist, holding lunch and learn events (including our own), holding Pride month Happy Hours, or creating a book club.

Yes, our lead guide on this experience will be a member of the LGBTQ+ community. We do not have drag queens on our events.

That being said, as a company focused on inclusion, we include diverse guides to lead all our events.

Because our Pride events include a carefully researched and produced event, it cannot be less than 60 minutes.

First, LGBTQ+-owned restaurants provide the food in the Treat Boxes. In addition, we include treats or items from queer business owners.

In fact, companies love being able to support LGBTQ+ businesses. Plus, the small business treats from the United States will be shipped to your team.

No, the Treat Boxes are optional to enhance the experience. However, the Treat Boxes allow your team to support awesome LGBTQ+-owned small businesses and support the LGBTQ community.

First, with advance notice, we can accommodate some food restrictions.

But, please get in touch if you have specific requirements.

Specifically, all of our Treat Boxes are vegetarian.

In addition, all boxes include non-perishable foods.
